More About Carson

Birthdate: May 22, 2003
Hometown: Mooresville, N.C.

Carson Kvapil will compete for Pinnacle Racing Group in select ARCA Menards Series races in 2024 while also seeking a third consecutive zMax CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Championship for JR Motorsports. Kvapil, son of 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil, became the second driver to win more than one CARS Tour LMSC championship when he swept both the driver and owner championships in 2022 and 2023 with 5 wins each season. Prior to his LMSC championships, Kvapil also won the 2021 zMax CARS Tour Super Late Model championship in his family-owned car by winning the season finale race to edge out the year-long points leader by a single point in the standings.

The 21 year old began his career in 2013 in the U.S. Legend Car Bandolero Division. In 2016, Kvapil moved up to the U.S. Legend Cars for a single season before moving to dirt-track racing in Outlaw Karts at nearby Millbridge Speedway, where he won several championships in the open wheel classes.

Outside of racing for Pinnacle Racing Group’s #82 Chevrolet SS ARCA Menards Series car, Kvapil will find additional opportunity in 2024 beyond late models with his debut in the Xfinity Series at JRM.
